I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a private practice based in the Wallingford Neighborhood. I have been working in the field of mental health for over 20 years. I see the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative one, in which we work together to explore areas in your life that you may be struggling with. My role is to provide a safe space to explore these challenges that you may be facing, or areas you would like to improve upon in your own personal journey. Many times these obstacles may be hindering you from moving forward. Whether you are struggling in relationships, family, with depression, anxiety, a traumatic event, life changes, or you are just looking to grow further as a person. I can help guide you in this process towards growth and change.
In my practice I see adults and adolescents. An area of focus in my practice is working with women struggling with perinatal mood disorders, pregnancy loss, birth trauma and infertility. I work with new parents struggling to find that balance in their life and relationship after baby arrives. I also specialize in working with adolescents and adults who struggle with depression and anxiety.
Some of the areas I focus on in my practice include:
- Grief and Loss
- Family of Origin wounds
- Interpersonal relationships
- Self Esteem
- Disordered Eating
- Pregnancy Loss
- Prenatal and postpartum depression and anxiety
- Birth Trauma
- Drug and Alcohol issues
If you are interested in working with me, or have any questions about the process, please feel free to contact me by phone or email at firstname.lastname@example.org or 206-271-4819. I am available for a free 20 minute phone consultation if you would like to make sure it is a good fit before working together.
I am currently available for in person and telehealth sessions.
